The charity exists to advance the musical education of children and young persons in the United Kingdom through the promotion of, and liaison with, regional choirs and the provision of facilities and equipment for members of such choirs; and the study and practice of Choral Music in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance.
