TO PROMOTE GOOD CITIZENSHIP BY THE PROVISION OF AWARDS TO YOUNG PEOPLE BETWEEN 8 AND 18 PRINCIPALLY IN KENT AND MEDWAY IN RECOGNITION OF THEIR CONTRIBUTION TO THEIR COMMUNITIES AND THEREBY ENCOURAGING YOUNG PEOPLE GENERALLY IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND SPIRITUAL CAPACITIES THAT THEY MAY GROW TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.
