Charitable objects
"TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY IN HYNDBURN (THE AREA OF BENEFIT) AND IN PARTICULAR WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, THE ASIAN COMMUNITY, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE ASIAN PEOPLE AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE SAID COMMUNITY"
