A) TO ADVANCE THE ISLAMIC FAITH, IN PARTICULAR BY THE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TOWARDS I) THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF INTERESTED PERSONS IN ISLAMIC KNOWLEDGE AND STUDY II) MOSQUES, CENTRES OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION AND LEARNING AS WELL OTHER ORGANISATIONS PROMOTING THE TENETS OF THE ISLAMIC RELIGION III) HELPING THOSE PERSONS WHO BY REASON OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CONDITIONS ARE UNABLE TO FULFIL THEIR ISLAMIC DUTIES AND OBLIGATIONS AND B) TO RELIEVE PERSONS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS WHETHER CAUSED BY FAMINE, WAR, NATURAL DISASTERS OR TRAGEDIES OR BY REASON OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CONDITIONS ARE IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE AND C) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION BETWEEN THE AGES OF 5 AND 25 YEARS TO THOSE WHO ARE IN NEED BY VIRTUE OF THEIR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, BURSARIES AND DONATIONS "AWARDS" AND IN THE CASE OF AWARDS TO SCHOOLS ONLY WHERE THESE ARE REQUIRED OVER AND ABOVE THE LIMITS OF ANY STATUTORY FUNDING THAT MAY BE APPLICABLE.
