THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES IN THE CHESTER-LE-STREET AREA OF COUNTY DURHAM (AREA OF BENEFIT) BY PROVISION OF A BOOKSTART SCHEME, WHICH PROVIDES FREE RESOURCES THAT ENCOURAGES THEM TO MAKE BOOK SHARING A HABIT, EMPOWERS PARENTS AND CARERS TO HELP BUILD THE FOUNDATIONS FOR LITERACY, AND ENABLES CHILDREN AND PARENTS TO SHARE THE PLEASURE AND SATISFACTION THAT BOOKS OFFER.
