TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, VOLUNTARY AND STATUTORY ORGANISATIONS IN MATTERS CONNECTED WITH THE EFFECTS OF SERIOUS CRIME UPON FAMILIES AND FRIENDS AND TO PROVIDE INFORMATION , ADVICE, COUNSELLING, COURT SUPPORT, GROUP MEETINGS AND OTHER ASSISTANCE WHEREVER PRACTICABLE FOR THE BENEFICIARIES OF SERIOUS OFFENDERS IN HAMPSHIRE, DORSET AND SUSSEX WHO WOULD EXPECT TO RECEIVE A CUSTODIAL SENTENCE IN EXCESS OF THREE YEARS..
