Charitable objects
FOR THE BENEFIT OF REFUGEE WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN, PARTICULARLY THOSE OF SOMALI ORIGIN: (A) TO RELIEVE POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION ADVICE AND ADVOCACY SERVICES (B) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION (C) AND TO PROVIDE AND ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SAID PERSON (D) ACT AS ADVOCATES TO SUPPORT SOMALI AND OTHER REFUGEE WOMEN IN REGARDS TO LIASING WITH AUTHORITIES SUCH AS EDUCATION, HEALTH, SOCIAL WELFARE, HOUSING AND OTHERS (E) TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES TO ASSIST THE EMPOWERMENT PROCESS OF MEMBERS TO ENCOURAGE PARTICIPATION AND COMBAT ISOLATION (F) TO PROVIDE CHILDCARE FACILITIES TO ENABLE MEMBERS TO PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES, LIASE WITH LOCAL AND LONDON WIDE AGENCIES FOR SUPPORT, ADVICE AND INFORMATION EXCHANGE (G) PROVIDE TRANSLATING AND INTERPRETING SERVICES TO ENCOURAGE PARTICIPATION OF SOMALI AND OTHER REFUGEE WOMEN ON COURSES, WORKSHOPS AND TRAINING EVENTS IN BROMLEY AND LONDON (H) ACT AS A RESOURCE ON REFUGEE/ASYLUM SEEKER ISSUES AND DEVELOP NETWORKING WITH LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL REFUGEE ORIGINATION FOR INFORMATION EXCHANGE AND POLICY CONSULTATION.
