Charitable objects
A) TO RELIEVE POVERTY AMONG AFRICAN REFUGEES, ASYLUM SEEKERS, OTHERS INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND OVERSEAS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF ADVICE, COUNSELLING, SUPPORT, HOSPITAL AND PRISON VISITS, EDUCATION, TRAINING AND BY OTHER CHARITABLE MEANS OF RELIEF OF POVERTY. B) THE ASSOCIATION SEEKS ALSO TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN PARTICULAR TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, TRAINING IN BUSINESS AND EMPLOYMENT SKILLS AMONG AFRICANS AND OTHER ETHNIC MINORITY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND OVERSEAS WHO HAVE LEFT FULL TIME EDUCATION AND IN PARTICULAR AMONG THOSE WHO ARE LEAST QUALIFIED AND HAVE POOREST PROSPECTS OF EMPLOYMENT. C) TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR THE RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THOSE PERSONS WHO ARE IN NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY, OR DISABLEMENT, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES.
