TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE FOR PEOPLE WHO USE, NEED TO OR ARE FORMER USERS OF MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND-UPON-THAMES, IN PARTICULAR: (A) TO PROVIDE INFORMATION, ADVICE AND SUPPORT, INCLUDING REPRESENTATION, REGARDING THEIR RIGHTS IN RELATION TO MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES; (B) TO ASSIST SUCH PEOPLE, WHETHER AS INDIVIDUALS OR IN FORMAL OR INFORMAL GROUPS, IN WORKING FOR THEIR EMPOWERMENT AND SOCIAL INCLUSION IN RELATION TO SUCH SERVICES, AND RECOGNITION AND PROTECTION OF THEIR RELEVANT RIGHTS; (C) TO PROMOTE AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF SUCH PEOPLES RIGHTS WITHIN MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, WHETHER IN THE STATUTORY, VOLUNTARY OR PRIVATE SECTORS, AND BY THE PUBLIC.
