Charitable objects
THE RELIEF OF CHILDREN, ADULTS AND THEIR FAMILIES SUFFERING FROM THE EFFECTS OF FOETAL ALCOHOL SYNDROME AND OTHER ALCOHOL RELATED BIRTH DEFECTS/DISORDERS, INCLUDING THE SAFEGUARDING OF THE PRENATAL CHILD, INITIALLY WITHIN WEST LANCASHIRE, THE BOROUGH OF WIGAN AND ACROSS THE UK PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: (I) RAISING AWARENESS OF FOETAL ALCOHOL SYNDROME (FAS) AND ALCOHOL RELATED BIRTH DISORDERS AND DEFECTS, (II) PROVIDING AND DEVELOPING SUPPORT FOR FAMILY SUPPORT AND PROFESSIONALS AFFECTED BY FOETAL ALCOHOL SYNDROME (FAS) AND ALCOHOL RELATED BIRTH DISORDERS AND DEFECTS, (III) PROVIDING A SUPPORT AND RESOURCE CENTRE FOR THE DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION ON FOETAL ALCOHOL SYNDROME (FAS) AND ALCOHOL RELATED BIRTH DISORDERS AND DEFECTS.
