Charitable objects
THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ARE TO PROMOTE PUBLIC HEALTH AND TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION, IN PARTICULAR MEDICAL EDUCATION, BY: (1) IMPROVING THE KNOWLEDGE OF VIRUSES, PARTICULARLY AS IT RELATES TO THE DIAGNOSIS AND MANAGEMENT OF VIRAL DISEASES, THEIR PATHOGENESIS, NATURAL HISTORY AND PREVENTION; (2) IMPROVING DIAGNOSTIC METHODS; (3) PROMOTING HIGH STANDARDS IN LABORATORY VIRAL DIAGNOSIS THROUGH QUALITY ASSESSMENT ACTIVITIES AND EDUCATION; AND (4) PROMOTING OR DEVELOPING PREPARATION AND EXCHANGE OF REFERENCE REAGENTS.
