Activities - how the charity spends its money
We run these non-medical rehab groups: 2 social and Rehab sessions, 1 for under 65s one for anyone having had a Stroke or carer. These sessions work on building confidence and concentration , a speech and language course for members with dyspasia; and 2 weekly chair based exercise classes. We also have monthly outings in the community. We also offer home visits to assess needs.

TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PERSONS WHO ARE STROKE SURVIVORS, IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT, INFORMATION AND ADVICE, RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATIONS TO SUCH PERSONS, THEIR CARERS AND FAMILIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, SO THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED.
