Charitable objects
1. TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF CHARITIES INVOLVED IN AND THE EFFECTIVE USE OF CHARITABLE RESOURCES FOR THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SUFFERING AND DISTRESS AND THE PREVENTION OF DISEASE AND ILL HEALTH AMONGST THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD BY CO-ORDINATING THE WORK OF AGENCIES PROVIDING CHARITABLE SERVICES OR RELIEF TO THOSE BENEFICIARIES, ORGANISING CONSULTATIONS AND CONFERENCES WHICH ACT AS A FORUM FOR THE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION BETWEEN THOSE AGENCIES, ORGANISING WORKSHOPS WHICH PROVIDE ADVICE, INFORMATION AND EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL TO THOSE AGENCIES, UNDERTAKING RESEARCH WHICH WILL ENABLE THOSE AGENCIES TO MORE EFFECTIVELY MEET THE NEEDS OF THE BENEFICIARIES, REPRESENTING A RANGE OF VIEWS TO POLICY MAKERS AND FUNDERS AND REPRESENTING THE VIEWS OF THE ULTIMATE BENEFICIARIES TO POLICY-MAKERS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS; AND 2. TO RELIEVE POVERTY, SUFFERING AND DISTRESS AND TO PREVENT DISEASE AND ILL HEALTH AMONGST THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD.
