TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN THE HISTORY AND USE OF THE CANAL. 3. TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH A VIEW OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
