TO RELIEVE THOSE CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM SERIOUS ILLNESS, AND THE CONSEQUENCES OF SERIOUS ILLNESS, BY SUCH MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, TOYS AND EQUIPMENT AND SUPPORT SERVICES (INCLUDING PROVISION TO OTHER INSTITUTIONS THAT MAY PROVIDE SUCH CARE AND SUPPORT).
