Charitable objects
FOR THE BENEFIT OF UNDERPRIVILEGED PEOPLE LIVING IN GOJAM (ETHIOPIA) WHO HAVE BEEN BADLY AFFECTED BY RECURRENT DROUGHT AND DISEASES SUCH AS AIDS AND MALARIA IN THE LAST FEW YEARS. A) TO SUPPLY MEDICINE AND FOOD DURING OUTBREAKS AND CRITICAL FOOD SHORTAGES. B) TO PROVIDE RESOURCES WHICH CAN BE USED TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN ORDER TO CREATE/INCREASE AWARENESS OF THE TRANSMISSION OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES SUCH AS AIDS. C) TO PROVIDE RESOURCES AIMED AT THE GENERAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGION. THESE INCLUDE THE PROVISION OF CLEAN WATER, HEALTH CARE, ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, TEACHING AID MATERIALS TO SCHOOLS AND CREATING/IMPROVING TRANSPORT LINKS TO BADLY AFFECTED RURAL AREAS. D) TO ESTABLISH AND/OR IMPROVE LINKS WITH GOVERNMENTAL AND NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANISATIONS IN BOTH THE UK AND ETHIOPIA IN ORDER TO FACILITATE THE DISTRIBUTION OF RESOURCES AND SERVICES TO THE INHABITANTS OF GOJAM.
