Charitable objects
TO FURTHER THE RELIGIOUS AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORK OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND, INCLUDING CHURCHES OR CHURCH COUNCILS (AND ESPECIALLY IN THE COUNTY OF SURREY), TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY IN THE COUNTY OF SURREY (AND IN PARTICULAR THE TOWN OF CLAYGATE) AND FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY AND THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DISTRICT OF ELMBRIDGE AND ITS NEIGHBOURHOOD AND IN PARTICULAR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND THE PROTECTION OF HEALTH AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY DISTRESS AND SICKNESS, TO PROVIDE FOR RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE, WHETHER FINANCIALLY OR OTHERWISE FOR THOSE SUFFERING FROM SICKNESS, DISEASE OR DISABILITY AND IN PARTICULAR THOSE AFFECTED BY MOTOR NEURONE DISEASE, THE CREATION OF TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES BY THE PROVISION OF WORKSPACE BUILDINGS AND/OR LAND FOR USE ON FAVOURABLE TERMS, THE MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT OR PROVISION OF PUBLIC AMENITIES, THE PROVISIONAL ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE AND/OR THOSE, WHO BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES, THE PROVISION OF PUBLIC HEALTH FACILITIES AND THE SUPPORT OF HOSPITALS AND HOSPICES, AND IN PARTICULAR THE PRINCESS ALICE HOSPICE, WEST END LANE, ESHER, SURREY, KT10 8NA AND GENERALLY TO SUPPORT SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE TRUSTS, ASSOCIATIONS OR ORGANISATIONS ESTABLISHED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.
