THE FRIENDS IS ESTABLISHED TO SUPPORT THE RESTORATION, PRESERVATION, REPAIR, MAINTENANCE, AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PARISH CHURCH OF ALL SAINTS, ASHDON IN THE DIOCESE OF CHELMSFORD (HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE CHURCH") AND OF THE MONUMENTS, FITTINGS, FIXTURES, STAINED GLASS, FURNITURE, ORNAMENTS AND CHATTELS IN THE CHURCH AND CHURCHYARD BELONGING TO THE CHURCH.
