1) TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AND TO PRESERVE THE HEALTH OF PERSONS WITH ONCOLOGICAL AND HAEMATOLOGICAL CONDITIONS ATTENDING SOMERSET ONCOLOGY AND HAEMATOLOGY CENTRE AT TAUNTON AND SOMERSET NHS TRUST, BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES AND SERVICES NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES. 2) TO RELIEVE THE DISTRESS AND SUFFERING CAUSED TO THE RELATIVES AND FRIENDS OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM SUCH CONDITIONS. 3) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO SUPPORT TRAINING AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES ABOUT AND RELATING TO ONCOLOGY AND HAEMATOLOGY SERVICES AMONGST MEDICAL AND NURSING STAFF
