Charitable objects

(A) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS LIVING AND WORKING IN THE SKINNINGROVE VILLAGE, INCORPORATING JETTY, BEACH AND BECK CORRIDOR THROUGH TO THE CULVERT VIADUCT AND OUTLYING AREAS THAT HAVE A SKINNINGROVE POSTAL ADDRESS (HEREINAFTER CALLED THE AREA OF BENEFIT) WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF GENDER, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, ETHNICITY OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS; (B) TO ESTABLISH A COMMUNITY CENTRE (HEREINAFTER CALLED THE RIVERSIDE BUILDING) AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE THE SAME (WHETHER ALONE OR IN CO-OPERATION WITH ANY LOCAL AUTHORITY OR OTHER PERSON OR BODY) IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS: (C) TO ACQUIRE LAND AND PROPERTY FOR AND TO CREATE A DOORSTEP GREEN UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE COUNTRYSIDE AGENCY'S DOORSTEP GREEN INITIATIVE AND THEREAFTER TO HOLD AND MAINTAIN THE GREEN AS AN AREA OF OPEN SPACE FOR THE BENEFIT AND USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF AND VISITORS TO THE LOCALITY IN WHICH THE GREEN IS SITUATE FOR INFORMAL RECREATION, PLAY AND OTHER LEISURE TIME PURSUITS, COMMUNITY, EVENTS AND OTHER LAWFUL PURPOSES OF BENEFIT TO SUCH INHABITANTS.
