1. THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH INTO AGRICULTURAL, ENVIRONMENTAL, ECOLOGICAL AND SILVICULTURAL ACTIVITIES AND THE PROMOTION OF CONSERVATION OF FLORA AND FAUNA IN THEIR NATURAL STATE, FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT; AND
2. SUCH OTHER PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION DETERMINE PROVIDED THAT SUCH PURPOSES ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE UNDER THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES.
