TO FURTHER THE RELIGIOUS AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORKS OF THE CHRISTIAN CHURCHES IN INDIA WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE SPIRITUAL AND MATERIAL NEEDS OF THE POOR, THE SICK AND THOSE SUFFERING FROM OTHER FORMS OF SOCIAL DEPRIVATION, AND IN THE TRAINING OF MINISTERS TO SERVE THOSE IN NEED.
