ASE supports projects in India for women who are socially & educationally disadvantaged, subject to domestic violence & poverty. The project trains unskilled women to make crafts items to sell. ASE also funds a program of education for the children of an extremely deprived community in the far northeast of India, aiming to use education & literacy as a weapon against poverty & exploitation.
