Provide facilities for local young musicians to develop their performance skills. To include village residents and organisations in the preparation and arrangement of the festival and in the promotion of live music.

= TO EDUCATE, INSPIRE AND APPEAL TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY BY OFFERING A BROADLY-BASED FESTIVAL PROGRAMME INCLUDING TRADITIONAL, CLASSICAL AND MODERN MUSIC FROM BOTH PROFESSIONAL AND AMATEUR PERFORMERS OF THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE STANDARD = TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR LOCAL YOUNG MUSICIANS TO DEVELOP THEIR PERFORMANCE SKILLS = TO INCLUDE AS MANY VILLAGE RESIDENTS AND ORGANISATIONS AS POSSIBLE IN THE PREPARATION AND ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE FESTIVAL AND IN THE PROMOTION OF LIVE MUSIC IN THE COMMUNITY
