Charitable objects
1. THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT LIMITED TO FAMINE RELIEF, BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL AND SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE SUPPORT AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR DISCRETION CONSIDER FIT. 2 THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN DEWSBURY AND BATLEY, PARTICULARLY AMONGST THE ASIAN COMMUNITY, BY THE PROVISION FINANCIAL AND CHARITABLE SUPPORT AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT. 3 TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF HANGING HEATON AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD, IN PARTICULAR YOUNG PERSONS, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS. 4. TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A COMMUNITY CENTRE.'
