IN FURTHERING THE CHARITABLE WORK OF THE NEW JOHN RADCLIFFE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL IN OXFORDSHIRE FOR THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND PRESERVATION OF HEALTH, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: 1) PROVIDING BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT AND COUNSELLING TO PARENTS AND SIBLINGS DURING A CHILD'S STAY IN HOSPITAL. 2) FURNISHING AND MAINTAINING A PARENTS' ROOM ON THE RESPIRATORY WARD. 3) PROVIDING FOR THE SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS AND NEEDS OF CHILDREN WITH LIFE-THREATENING ILLNESSES BOTH IN HOSPITAL OR AT HOME; AND 4) PROMOTING AND ENCOURAGING SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY THE DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION AND KNOWLEDGE INTO CHILDHOOD DISEASES, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY RESPIRATORY AND CARDIAC DISEASES.
