We are a small friendly group who meet once a month to talk over any relevant topics and help with advice and information. We ??? have regular meetings. ??? provide a 24 hour support network for each other and families with newly diagnosed children and adults. ??? offer specialist training to professionals and parents. ??? write our own literature. ??? raise public awareness.

Charitable objects
TO SUPPORT ANY PERSON DIAGNOSED AS HAVING AN AUTISTIC SPECTRUM DISORDER HEREIN CALLED 'ASD' AND THEIR CARERS/FAMILIES WHO LIVE IN THE AREA OF SOUTH LAKELAND (HEREIN CALLED THE AREA OF BENEFIT) BY ANY OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS: BY PROVIDING A 24-HOUR SUPPORT NETWORK FOR ALL THOSE AFFECTED BY ASD AND HOST REGULAR MONTHLY MEETINGS, ARRANGING TRAINING COURSES AND ANY OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT WILL BENEFIT THOSE AFFECTED BY ASD. BY PROVIDING INFORMATION AND ADVICE ON MATTERS RELATING TO THE ROLE OF CARING, WELFARE BENEFITS, HEALTH AND EDUCATION ISSUES. BY ACCEPTING GIFTS, FUNDRAISING AND INVESTING MONIES OF 'THE GROUP' IN ANY MANNER DEEMED APPROPRIATE AND SHALL CONFORM TO ANY RELEVANT REQUIREMENTS IN THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES
