To relieve the suffering of IG's in need of care and attention. To provide rescue homes for pedigree or crossbred IG's, and to facilitate their rehoming. To ensure that Rescue IG's in need of veterinary care receive the appropriate treatment. To educate the public as to responsible ownership of the breed. To promote research into diseases and health issues affecting the breed.
