Charitable objects

1. TO PROMOTE THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF CHILDREN BY ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING MEANS: A) MONITORING ABUSES OF HUMAN RIGHTS; B) RESEARCH INTO HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES; C) RELIEVING THE CHARITABLE NEEDS OF VICTIMS OF HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES; D) RAISING AWARENESS OF AND ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS AND HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES; E) PROMOTING PUBLIC SUPPORT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS; F) PROMOTING RESPECT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AMONGST INDIVIDUALS AND CORPORATIONS; AND G) INTERNATIONAL ADVOCACY WORK. THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF CHILDREN MEANS THOSE HUMAN RIGHTS SET OUT IN THE UNITED NATIONS CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD WHICH CAME INTO FORCE ON 2 SEPTEMBER 1990. 2. TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN WHO HAVE BEEN PHYSICALLY INJURED OR SUFFERED PSYCHOLOGICAL HARM AS A RESULT OF ARMED CONFLICT OR ITS CONSEQUENCES, INCLUDING BY THE PROVISION OF REHABILITATION CENTRES AND THE PROVISION OF MEDICINE, MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING FR THE RELEVANT HEALTH SERVICES; 3. TO PROMOTE RESEARCH INTO THE LONG TERM ENVIRONMENTAL CONSEQUENCES OF WAR AND TO PUBLISH THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH TO THE PUBLIC.
