1) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO RELIEVE THE NEED OF PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES AND MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS (OVER AND ABOVE WHAT IT PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES) BY THE PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL COURSES AND THERAPEUTIC SERVICES; AND 2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY REGARDING LEARNING DISABILITIES AND MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS IN ORDER TO ASSIST IN COMMUNICATING THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE BY THE PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL COURSES AND BY UNDERTAKING RESEARCH AND DISSEMINATING THE RESULTS TO THE PUBLIC.
