TO ESTABLISH A SPECIALIST CARDIAC AND STROKE UNIT TO BE USED FOR PREVENTION OF, EARLY TREATMENT OF, RECOVERY FROM AND EARLY REHABILITATION AFTER HEART ATTACKS AND STROKES, WITH SPECIALISED AND GENERAL MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND STAFF, TO PURCHASE OR OTHERWISE PROVIDE THE TECHNOLOGY DRUGS MEDICINE EQUIPMENT OR OTHER RESOURCES NECESSARY FOR THOSE PURPOSES, TO FOSTER AND ENGAGE IN RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES OF STROKES AND HEART RELATED AILMENTS AND DISEASES, TO DEVELOP TREATMENT AND CURES AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE SAME, TO ENCOURAGE EDUCATION AND LEARNING IN THE SCIENCE AND PRACTICE OF MEDICINE IN THOSE FIELDS, AND TO SUPPORT BY WHATEVER MEANS SUCH STEPS OR ACTIONS REQUIRED FOR THE IMPROVEMENT IN HEALTH OF ANY PERSON OR PERSONS SUFFERING ABNORMAL HEART PERFORMANCE OR ACTUAL OR POTENTIAL CORONARY DISEASE.
