TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION FOR PERSONS IN THE AREA OF DORSET WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR AGE, DISABLEMENT, INFIRMITY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
