Charitable objects
THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE (AFTER THE PAYMENT OF EXPENSES OF ADMINISTRATION) TO APPLY THE INCOME (INCLUDING ACCUMULATIONS OF INCOME) OF THE CHARITY FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES AND IN PARTICULAR TO ESTABLISH EDUCATION EXCHANGES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THOSE INVOLVED IN MEDICINE MUSIC HISTORY OR ART BETWEEN THE UNITED KINGDOM (PARTICULARLY BIRMINGHAM UNIVERSITY INCLUDING THE BARBER INSTITUTE) AND THE CZECH AND SLOVAK REPUBLICS (PARTICULARLY BRNO UNIVERSITY) AND FURTHERMORE (BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS THAT THE TRUSTEES DETERMINE NAMELY: (I) BY THE ESTABLISHMENT AND PROMOTION OF EXCHANGES BETWEEN STUDENTS TEACHERS AND OTHER MEMBERS OF MEDICAL SCHOOLS OF BIRMINGHAM UNIVERSITY AND BRNO UNIVERSITY (II) IN ENCOURAGING RESEARCH INTO MEDICINE AT THE SAID MEDICAL SCHOOLS (II) IN THE GIVING OF LECTURES TO MEDICAL STUDENTS IN THE SAID MEDICAL SCHOOLS (IV) IN THE ESTABLISHMENT AND PROMOTION OF CULTURAL EXCHANGES OF MUSIC HISTORY AND ARTISTS PARTICULARLY MEMBERS OF THE BARBER INSTITUTE AND SIMILAR MUSIC OR ARTISTIC UNIVERSITIES OR SCHOOLS IN THE CZECH AND SLOVAK REPUBLICS (V) THE HOLDING OF AN ANNUAL CONCERT IN PARTICULAR BY A CZECH OR SLOVAK MUSICIAN TO BE GIVEN IN THE BARBER INSTITUTE (VI) THE PROVISIONS OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO THOSE STUDYING OR TEACHING MEDICINE MUSIC HISTORY OR ART IN ANY UNIVERSITY OR SIMILAR EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OR ANY UNIVERSITY OR SIMILAR EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS IN THE CZECH AND SLOVAK REPUBLICS
