Charitable objects
1. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AMONG CHILDREN IN THE CARE OF LOCAL AUTHORITIES IN THE UK BY THE PROVISION OF CAREER GUIDANCE, RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING FOR EXTRA CURRICULA ACTIVITIES NOT OTHERWISE PROVIDED FOR FROM PUBLIC FUNDS. 2. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AMONG STUDENTS FROM THE INDIAN SUB-CONTINENT, WHO ARE IN NEED, BY THE PROVISION OF SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES TO ENABLE THEM TO UNDERTAKE HIGHER EDUCATION WITHIN THE UK AND BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR SUCH STUDENTS UNDERTAKING WORK EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE UK. 3. THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND SICKNESS AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION WITHIN THE INDIAN SUB-CONTINENT BY THE PROVISION OF ADVICE, TRAINING AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO REGISTERED CHARITIES ENGAGED IN HEALTH, WELFARE OR EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS IN THE INDIAN SUB-CONTINENT, PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THOSE BENEFITING CHILDREN.
