1. THE RELIEF OF POOR PERSONS WHO ARE SICK, DISABLED OR CONVALESCING. 2. THE RELIEF OF POOR CHILDREN WHO ARE SICK AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF SUCH CHILDREN. 3. THE RELIEF OF PERSONS IN CONDITIONS OF NEED HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS RESULTING FROM NATURAL DISASTERS SUCH AS EARTHQUAKE, FLOOD, FAMINE OR DROUGHT. 4. TO PROMOTE THE CARE AND PROTECTION OF ANIMALS OF ALL KINDS IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OR BEING SICK, MALTREATED, STRAY, NEGLECTED OR UNWANTED AND TO PREVENT CRUELTY TO AND SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS.
