TO DEVELOP STANDARDS OF EXCELLENCE IN ALL MATTERS RELATING TO ADOPTION, GOOD PRACTICE AND MANAGEMENT THROUGHOUT THE VOLUNTARY SECTOR FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN PARTICULAR TO MAXIMISE THE CONTRIBUTION OF VOLUNTARY ADOPTION AGENCIES BY INFLUENCING POLICY AND PRACTICE OF ADOPTION IN THE UK AT THE NATIONAL, REGIONAL AND LOCAL LEVELS AND TO DIRECTLY INCREASE THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN SUCCESSFULLY PLACED FOR ADOPTION BY PROMOTING LIAISON AND COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIP WORKING PRACTICES BETWEEN VOLUNTARY ADOPTION AGENCIES AND ALL OTHER STAKEHOLDERS.
