Charitable objects
1. THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS, BOTH WITHIN THE UK AND OVERSEAS, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF ASSISTANCE TO THOSE SUFFERING AS A RESULT OF WAR, CIVIL DISTURBANCE, NATURAL DISASTER, DISEASE, DISABILITY, STARVATION, SOCIAL ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCE, BY SUCH EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE. 2. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, BOTH WITHIN THE UK AND OVERSEAS, BY PROVISION OF ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL OR TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES TO THOSE PERSONS WHO WOULD OTHERWISE BE UNABLE TO ACCESS SUCH OPPORTUNITIES. ASSISTANCE MAY BE GIVEN AS FINANCIAL OR MATERIAL AND AT THE DISCRETION OF THE TRUSTEES. 3. THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD HEALTH WITHIN THE UK AND OVERSEAS AMONG THOSE IN NEED(INCLUDING, BUT NOT BY WAY OF LIMITATION, THOSE SUFFERING AS A RESULT OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE OR ADDICTION), BY THE PROVISION OF OR ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF SAFE DRINKING WATER, BASIC SANITATION, MEDICAL/HEALTH ADVICE AND INFORMATION, OR SUCH OTHER HELP AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE 4. THE PROVISION IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION, BOTH WITHIN THE UK AND OVERSEAS, FOR THOSE IN NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF AGE, INFIRMITY, DISABILITY, OR SOCIAL/ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE
