THE PROMOTION OF ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE FOR THE BENEFIT OF PEOPLE AGED 55 AND OVER WHO IDENTIFY THEMSELVES AS IRISH (THE BENEFICIARIES) BY THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, THE PROTECTION OF HEALTH AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS TO PROVIDE OR ARRANGE FOR THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION THAT ARE PROVIDED IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE PERSONS FOR WHOM THEY ARE INTENDED.
