TO ASSIST IN THE PRESERVATION, MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND IMPROVEMENT OF WHALLEY ABBEY'S 14TH CENTURY RUINS AND GROUNDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN CO-OPERATION WITH THE BLACKBURN DIOCESAN BOARD OF FINANCE LTD. 2. TO FURTHER SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE WORK OF WHALLEY ABBEY AS THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.
