THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS IN MALAWI, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT BY WAY OF LIMITATION AMONG FAMILIES IN THE MULANJE DISTRICT, ACTING AS GUARDIANS FOR ORPHANED CHILDREN (THE BENEFICIARIES) BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN THE FORM OF BUSINESS START-UP LOANS AND THE PROVISION OF ADVICE, GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT TO ASSIST BENEFICIARIES IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
