Charitable objects
THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY IS TO PROMOTE THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF THOSE RESIDENTS OF THE LONDON BOROUGHS OF SOUTH LONDON, PARTICULARLY BY PROVIDING: (A) A GARDEN WHERE HORTICULTURE IS USED FOR THERAPY AND REHABILITATION; (B) OPPORTUNITIES FOR TRAINING FOR WORK AND EDUCATION; (C) OPPORTUNITIES FOR ARTISTIC AND CREATIVE EXPRESSION; AND (D) THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY THE CONSERVATION OR PROMOTION OF BIOLOGICAL DIVERSITY THROUGH : (I) THE PROVISION, CONSERVATION, RESTORATION OR ENHANCEMENT OF THE NATURAL HABITAT IN SYDENHAM GARDEN, THE DE FRENE SITE OR ANY OTHER GARDEN THE CHARITY MAY OWN OR MANAGE; OR (II) THE MAINTENANCE OR RECOVERY OF A SPECIES IN ITS NATURAL HABITAT IN SYDENHAM GARDEN, THE DE FRENE SITE OR ANY OTHER GARDEN THE CHARITY MAY OWN OR MANAGE.
