Charitable objects
I) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN THE SUBJECT OF PREGNANCY AND THE TERMINATION OF PREGNANCY AND INTO THE EFFECTS ON WOMEN WHETHER PHYSICAL, MEDICAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL. II) TO RELIEVE AND PREVENT SUFFERING CAUSED BY MENTAL OR PHYSICAL ILL HEALTH OR BY FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, OR NEED CAUSED BY OTHER REASONS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF CONFIDENTIAL COUNSELLING, INFORMATION AND OTHER SERVICES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. III) TO SAFEGUARD AND PROTECT THE GOOD HEALTH, BOTH PHYSICAL AND MENTAL, OF ADULTS AND CHILDREN, AND TO PREVENT POVERTY, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS CAUSED BY THE BREAK UP OF MARRIAGE. IV) THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF WOMEN'S HEALTH. V) TO RELIEVE THE MENTAL, SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL DISTRESS OF WOMEN AND THEIR PARTNERS AND FAMILIES WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM ANY PHYSICAL OR MENTAL ILLNESS, DISTRESS OR POVERTY DURING OR AS A RESULT OF PREGNANCY OR FOLLOWING AN ABORTION, MISCARRIAGE, COT DEATH, STILL BIRTH, LOSS OF A CHILD OR SEXUAL ABUSE BY THE PROVISION OF COUNSELLING AND ASSISTANCE. VI) TO RELIEVE THE MENTAL, SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL DISTRESS OF PERSONS IN THE COMMUNITY WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM BEREAVEMENT. VII) TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE GOOD HEALTH OF PERSONS IN THE COMMUNITY WHO ARE DEPENDENT OR ADDICTED TO DRUGS AND/OR ALCOHOL, OR WHO ARE AT RISK OF BECOMING SO, OR WHO ARE RECOVERING FROM THE MISUSE OF DRUGS AND/OR ALCOHOL, AND TO HELP RELIEVE THE DISTRESS OF THEIR FAMILIES, PARENTS AND CARERS. VIII) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY ABOUT THE DANGERS OF DRUB ABUSE AND/OR ALCOHOL MISUSE. IX) TO RELIEVE THOSE ADULTS AND CHILDREN IN THE COMMUNITY WHO ARE AFFECTED BY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE BY THE PROVISION OF CRISES INTERVENTION ADVICE, COUNSELLING AND SUPPORT. X) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF PARENTS AND OTHER PERSONS IN THE PROVISION OF CHILDCARE AND PARENTS SKILLS. XI) TO EDUCATE PARENTS AND OTHER PERSONS CONCERNING THE INSTITUTION OF MARRIAGE WITH A VIEW TO DEVELOPING PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ENRICHING FAMILY LIFE. XII) TO PROMOTE THE REHABILITATION AND RESETTLEMENT OF EX-PRISONERS AND OFFENDERS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION AND COUNSELLING. XIII) TO RELIEVE UNEMPLOYMENT IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION, COUNSELLING AND SUPPORT TO UNEMPLOYED MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY TO ENABLE THEM TO RETURN TO THE WORKPLACE. XIV) TO FURTHER SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY AS THE TRUSTEES DETERMINE FROM TIME TO TIME.
