THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS (THE OBJECTS) ARE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE RESIDENTS OF BOWBURN, DURHAM, AND THE SURROUNDING AREA IN THE MINING HERITAGE OF THE AREA, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PRESERVATION AND DISPLAY OF TWO OR MORE MINER'S LODGE BANNERS, THE PRODUCTION OF A NEW BANNER AND THE PROVISION OF AND PARTICIPATION IN COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS AND ACTIVITIES.
