TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE A SWIMMING CLUB FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE ISLE OF WIGHT AND ITS VICINITY, AND OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID USERS.
