THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITABLE ORGANISATION IS TO PROVIDE A COMMUNITY TRANSPORT SERVICE FOR SUCH OF THE INHABITANTS OF RYEDALE, SCARBOROUGH & WHITBY AND SELBY DISTRICTS OF NORTH YORKSHIRE AND OF THE CITY OF YORK, WHO ARE IN NEED OF SUCH SERVICE BECAUSE OF AGE, SICKNESS OR DISABILITY (MENTAL OR PHYSICAL), OR POVERTY, OR BECAUSE OF A LACK OF AVAILABILITY OF ADEQUATE AND SAFE PUBLIC TRANSPORT SERVICES.
