TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY, CULTURE AND SOCIETY OF THE CANONICAL EASTERN AND ORIENTAL ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN CHURCHES (ORTHODOX CHURCHES) , BEING ANY OR ALL OF THOSE ORTHODOX CHURCHES WHICH ARE IN FULL EUCHARISTIC COMMUNION WITH ANY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING HIERARCHICAL SEES: ECUMENICAL PATRIARCHATE OF CONSTANTINOPLE, THE COPTIC ORTHODOX PATRIARCHATE OF ALEXANDRIA, THE SYRIAN ORTHODOX PATRIARCHATE OF ANTIOCH OR THE SUPREME CATHOLICOSATE OF ALL ARMENIANS IN ETCHMIADZIN. 2. TO ACQUIRE, HOLD, RESTORE AND MAINTAIN INFORMATION, ARTEFACTS, VESTMENTS, ACCOUTREMENTS, ARCHIVES, LIBRARIES AND PROPERTY OF HISTORICAL OF CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE RELATING TO THE ORTHODOX CHURCHES. 3. TO PUBLISH AND DISSEMINATE INFORMATION ON THE ORTHODOX CHURCHES IN GENERAL, AND THE BRITISH ORTHODOX CHURCH IN PARTICULAR, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
