Activities - how the charity spends its money
Home-Start Newark offers a simple preventative service to families under pressure who have at least one child under 5 years old. We offer support in the home by volunteers who are all parents themselves, offering friendship,practical help and a much needed listening ear. Helping parents by reducing isolation, building confidence and theirfore increasing the well-being of children

A) TO SAFEGUARD, PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE GOOD HEALTH, BOTH MENTAL AND PHYSICAL OF CHILDREN AND PARENTS OF CHILDREN; B) TO PREVENT CRUELTY TO OR MALTREATMENT OF CHILDREN; C) TO RELIEVE SICKNESS, POVERTY AND NEED AMONGST CHILDREN AND PARENTS OF CHILDREN; D) TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN BETTER STANDARDS OF CHILD CARE WITHIN THE AREA OF NEWARK AND ITS ENVIRONS.
