TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF MEMBERS OF THE SOMALI COMMUNITY WITHIN BIRMINGHAM AND SURROUNDING AREAS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER LOCAL AUTHORITIES, NATIONAL AND VOLUNTARY BODIES AND SAID INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR SAID PERSONS WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
