Charitable objects

3.1 TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS WITHIN THE BOROUGH OF LUTON GENERALLY, AND IN PARTICULAR THE ELECTORAL WARD OF SUNDON PARK (BOUNDARIES AS AT MARCH 2003) AND SURROUNDING DISTRICTS WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO RELIEVE THOSE IN NEED, TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATIONS WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS; 3.2 TO ESTABLISH A COMMUNITY CENTRE AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE OR COOPERATE WITH ANY LOCAL STATUTORY AUTHORITY OR PROPERLY CONSTITUTED MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE IN THE MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF SUCH A CENTRE FOR ACTIVITIES PROMOTED BY THE CHARITY AND ITS CONSTITUENT BODIES IN FURTHERANCE OF THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS; AND 3.3 TO FURTHER SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SAID INHABITANTS AS THE TRUSTEES DETERMINE FROM TIME TO TIME.
