THE RELIEF OF POVERTY HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS WITHIN AFRICA, AMONG MEMBERS OF SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY EXCLUDED COMMUNITIES, BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE OR SUCH OTHER EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE. 2. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AMONG CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ATTENDING PRIMARY OR SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN AFRICA, BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN MEETING THE CONSTRUCTION COSTS OF NEW SCHOOL BUILDINGS AND IN OBTAINING ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS OR SUPPLIES.
